Thank you to Vanilla Basil for this rub! It was a great for summer. The steaks were tender, spicy, and a little bit sweet, which Kramer and I both loved. Rubs are fantastic because they’re quick and easy, yet they can give your meal incredible flavor (especially the smoked paprika – I love paprika). I served this with asparagus, but Mexican rice or any other vegetable will do just fine as well. Recipe after the jump!

The great thing about this rub is that I already had everything in my cupboard; no need for a last minute run to the store.

Just throw it all in a bowl…

And combine thoroughly.

Then rub it all into the steaks and let them sit in the fridge for at least an hour (I let mine sit for three hours).

Grill ‘em up!

Kramer’s dad gave him his old sunglasses, haha.

Just throwing this in here for fun; Kramer got his business cards yesterday!

Ready to eat!

This really makes me wish Dave ate meat. Hopefully I’ll meet you in real life very soon and we can dish about dishes. :)
