How To Pack A Lunch

Post image for How To Pack A Lunch

I wake up at 6:30 AM with Kramer every morning to make him breakfast and pack his lunch. It’s actually really nice because it gets me up and I am much more productive during the day. It’s either that or I have to get to work as well and I have to wake up around that time anyway. Either way, I figured that I’d take photos of what Kramer’s typical lunch is like everyday (I know you’re all interested). I love being able to make him lunch now that he’s got a “big boy” job! Check it out after the jump!

We always have some kind of good bread, like this whole wheat Kaiser roll.

And it get toasted.

Add a little mustard (Kramer hates mayo).

Then turkey (or whatever other deli meat we’ve got around).

Then cheese (today it was Muenster).

Then bacon (of course).

Lettuce.

Then top it off with the other side of the roll! The perfect sandwich.

Wrap it all up in tinfoil.

I also pack him some kind of vegetable. Today, carrots.

I also sent an apple with him today.

When I cut it up, I squeezed some lemon juice over it so it wouldn’t get brown during the day.

I also packed him some peanut butter in a little container to dip the apples in.

A diet Coke.

One of my cookies (how could I not?).

I put a note in there everyday, too. I usually start it off with a quote from The Office, haha.

All done!

Ready to go to work.

You know the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, some of your sandwhich making skills were inherited from your Auntie Donna. Nothing makes a man happier than a beautiful girl packing his lunch. I love you Sydney, and your website brings me such happiness……………….one more thing………….leave out the cookie

That person must be the among the luckiest in the world to have such a handsome lunch prepared, packed, and handed to him in a manner such as this. This must be one of the highest forms of romance I’ve witnessed in recent years. http://www.bentpage.wordpress.com.

That looks like an awesome lunch. I’ve never thought about leaving notes in my boyfriend’s lunch before – I think I’ll do it this weekend for him since he’s working and I’m off. :)
Great blog – I’ve bookmarked you.

Ray July 1, 2008 at 2:52 pm

Would you send one of these overseas? :)
Kind regards.

That’s an amazing lunch. But does lemon really keep an apple from going brown? I never knew that! What a helpful tip…

So sweet…and delicious. The lemon is a good idea I’ll steal for my fast-browning avocado slices. I love bringing my lunch in this little package I wrote about, but I don’t know if it’s manly enough!

I hope he makes lunch for you, too. It would unfair for the woman to make lunch for her man all the time.
